Definition of Clinical Research:

Clinical Research is a component of medical and health research intended to produce knowledge valuable for Understanding human disease, preventing and treating illness, and promoting health.

Clinical Research embraces a Continuum of studies involving interactions with patients, diagnostic clinical material or data, or populations

Introduction:

The Government Research Department (Unani) was established in 1957 by G.O. Ms 2405 dated 30-11-1957.

“The Govt Research Department (Unani) has established an evidence-based support clinical data and take-up of technical projects for guidance in Specific diseases and for guidance in treatment.

The Department has established evidence-based scientific Research and clinical trials, to see the efficacy of Unani Drugs on Subjects as per norms.

Research work

In research department, research is a process of systematic inquiry that entails collection of data, documentation of clinical information, and analysis and interpretation of that data/ information, in accordance with suitable methodologies set up by specific professional fields.

The scope in research refers to the boundaries and extent of a study, defining its specific objectives, target population, variables, methods and limitations, which helps researches focus and provide a clear understanding of what will be investigated.
